One interesting development in PC hardware for 2026 is NVIDIA’s increasingly serious entry into the market for ARM-based PC processors.
NVIDIA is introducing the RTX Spark platform, which utilizes ARM-based chips for Windows computers. Devices powered by this platform are scheduled to launch in the second half of 2026, with various PC manufacturers set to develop devices based on it.
For years, the Windows PC market has been dominated by processors based on the x86 architecture from Intel and AMD. However, ARM’s success in smartphones and the growth of “Windows on ARM” have opened up new opportunities.
